My ‘3 Es’

Participants in one of my workshops or presentations on workplace communication would hear my ‘3Es’ often – be effective, be efficient and be engaging:

  • Effective means the message is clear, focused and concise.
  • Efficient means the message is created in the best way possible to accomplish its objectives.
  • Engaging means the message is delivered to readers or listeners to compel them to listen, learn and take appropriate action.

So, what can you do to harness the power of the ‘3 Es’ in your routine workplace communication?
